Welcome to JJefferson Photography! I'm the one behind the lens capturing your memories, guiding you before and after your session & artistically enhancing your portraits! While the picture shows a family of three, we've recently grown and have our own family portraits to update soon! I'm immensely blessed with an amazingly supportive husband, a talented and beautiful daughter and wonderful extended relatives who make up our unique family! Love abounds in our sometimes crazy home and we cherish every moment together!

I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember! As a young girl interested in my family ancestry from captured memories on black and white postcards, to personally capturing images of family and friends, I feel pictures instill a sense of connection and belonging to people and times, especially those gone long ago. 

Several years ago a tragic event changed the way I see life and it pushed me to put my passion into action. Since dedicating myself to bringing this passion to life, I have attended many in person workshops, taken over twenty online classes and tutorials and continue learning through online mentorships and trainings. I am confident you will see this reflected in my work and your experience with my as your photographer.

My passion and primary focus is capturing portraits of children and youth but I am open to exploring Maternity & Couples photography. I create traditional posed portraits that are artistically enhanced focusing on deep, vibrant & bold colors. Along with portraiture, I offer custom announcements, invitations and seasonal cards for all your special moments!
